Hi everyone,Just echoing the posts on Facebook as we are being asked a bit about post. We have cast and packed all orders and Kickstarters (that have responded to requests for information). Most went out before the postal lockdown but a good 30 are here and going into the system today (we were going to hold off till it was confirmed that post is leaving the island but people seem insistent).We are closed until the 11th of January. Well thats what our Facebook said however as always there have been requests for us to continue working so after a very stressful 4 days off (first in a year), which had floods, tiles off roofs, many emails/messages about postage and other assorted issues we are going back to work behind the scenes. Hello everyone,We have a few housekeeping points.1. Plastic Bases. We will be updating our shop to confirm that we will no longer be providing bases with out products. It has been increasingly difficult to get a reliable supply. We will supply whatever stock we have left (mostly 30mm lipped bases).2. The Dark Tower.The resin mould for this set is being remade and should be completed soon. Hopefully we will be able to post out the 3 orders in the que next week.3.Space Dwarves Kickstarters.We have been running a few Kickstarters this year for Space Dwarves and we will be running another the end of this month (after we have shipped out the last of the previous pledges.). The store has all the released ones on it and will be updated with the bikers by the end of the month.4. Retiring Ranges. The following ranges are going to be retired end of June.Old Salt – Dwarves, Cutu, Orcs, Pi Rats, Goblins and Halflings.Goblin Hood.Space Orcs.The moulds and masters will be stored safely. Hello everyone.In these interesting times it can be hard for the self employed small businesses to keep going. We wanted to take this opportunity to say we are fully stocked on metal and moulds and still continuing to spin. This however is at a greatly reduced rate. We have gone from 3 staff down to just myself for the foreseeable future (but I am mega awesome though right?). The vast majority of the community has been outstanding in their support as we all come to grips with what is the ‘new way of life’ for the time being.We will continue to work as long as the post offices remain open (as some of you know we have a good relationship with our local postmaster). We have to continue to work and we appreciate all the support. To that end we will also be running a Kickstarter project soon building on our release earlier this year. Hello all,Obviously there is a Pandemic at the moment which will cause delays to processing orders. This is due in part to the staffing issues we have and the supply of materials….But also due to the need for childcare.The store will remain open and we should have all outstanding orders processed by close of play tomorrow for shipping Friday.Our casting clients will see little effect to their projects going forwards.Our Kickstater Backers for the 7 Dwarves will still look to be completed this month. (Outstanding the Ogre and the Power Suits).We are fully self employed and are both lucky and cursed for this. So its been a while since the Dwarves at Arms kickstarter and we have found the time and funds to rework the original sculpts from this project. So with the Christmas season fast approaching we have already closed down the store and will be taking on no new clients/projects between December the 18th to January the 7th.We take very little time off in the year and this is no exception.
